Quality has a name

The house of Jindrak has lengthy traditions. In 1929, my grandfather, Leo Jindrak I. opened the first confectionary at Herrenstrasse no.22 with two shop assistants and three journeymen. Our products, which are not just a delight on the palate, but also a feast for the eyes, attracted a growing number of connoisseurs, which resulted in the gradual enlargement of our business. Today we employ 145 people, including 12 apprentices. The Jindrak confectionery is the home of the “Original Linzer Torte”.

We attach special value to quality and authentic bakery goods. The receipt of numerous awards and certificates repeatedly spurs us on to retain the highest possible product standards. For example, in January 1998 our company became the first Austrian confectioner’s to be allotted certification in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard.
