In addition to our pastry selection – renowned far beyond the city limits of Linz for its delicious creations and charming presentation – our Danish-style pastries are equally impressive.
In our own bakery, we craft freshly baked and beautifully decorated specialties every day – all made by hand with true artisanal skill.
Our “Plunder Wonders” are especially popular: delicate curd turnovers, aromatic nut croissants, and fine nut pastries – all freshly baked every day to delight not only the palate but also the heart.
Where tradition meets indulgence
The hand-braided Butterstriezel from Konditorei Jindrak captivates with its golden-brown crust and soft, sweet interior – a true delicacy once reserved for festive occasions.
The Striezel breakfast on November 1st is a cherished tradition in Austria and Bavaria, where Butterstriezel is an essential part of the celebration – often given as a symbol of affection and togetherness.
Perfect alongside a cup of coffee, it’s a treat to enjoy all year round.
Jindrak’s Butterstriezel are always freshly made and therefore available only on Fridays, Saturdays, and before public holidays.
In-House Ice Cream Production
Jindrak’s premium ice cream is crafted with the finest ingredients, including fresh fruits and an exceptionally high fruit content – our strawberry ice cream, for example, contains a full 50%. Quality and hygiene are top priorities, ensured through regular in-house inspections. Our ice cream production is led by Master Confectioner Karl Sündhofer, whose expertise is evident in every scoop.
Alongside classics like strawberry and pistachio, you’ll find creative flavors and lovingly composed sundaes – available with or without alcohol. For many, Jindrak’s ice cream remains an insider tip – every bit as exquisite as our pastries.
