herrenstrasse filiale

Kommerzialrat Leo Jindrak I, grandfather of today’s company owner Leo Jindrak III, opened the first Jindrak confectionery on Herrenstraße in 1929.
In 1971, his son Leo Jindrak II took over the business, renovated the cafés, and opened Jindrak Pikant, which remains popular today for its savory sandwiches and tasty lunch menus.
Today, on Herrenstraße, you’ll find a confectionery, a traditional coffeehouse on the first floor, and the modern Jindrak Art Café – each offering a unique experience of Austrian craftsmanship and indulgence.

At the Jindrak confectionery on Herrenstraße, you’ll find not only our most famous creation – the Original Linzer Torte – but also a wide variety of homemade specialties crafted with care and tradition. Artfully crafted cakes, slices, strudels, pastries, and pralines are waiting to be discovered. You’ll also find inspiration for exquisite gift ideas in our confectionery. Our staff will be happy to assist you and carefully pack your pastries for safe transport and enjoyment at home.
