Originally, the S\u00fcdbahnhof was indeed a railway station.
It served as a stop on the horse-drawn railway connecting \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice (Budweis) and Gmunden.
Since 1949, the site has been home to the S\u00fcdbahnhofmarkt \u2013 Upper Austria\u2019s largest farmers\u2019 market.
For many residents of Linz, a weekly visit to the market is a cherished tradition.

The market is open Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jindrak shop on S\u00fcdbahnhofmarkt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Jindrak shop at the S\u00fcdbahnhofmarkt was the company\u2019s first branch after the flagship caf\u00e9 on Herrenstra\u00dfe.
It was founded in 1979 by Leo Jindrak II, father of today\u2019s company owner, Kommerzialrat Leo Jindrak III.
Even today, the caf\u00e9 retains a special atmosphere and a touch of nostalgia \u2013 a small oasis of calm from which you can watch the colourful hustle and bustle of the market through the window.
Enjoy a cup of coffee and choose from our wide selection of homemade pastries, which we\u2019re happy to pack for you to take home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
